  6. Antihistamines are commonly 
  7. used for colds, hayfever, 
  8. seasonal and other allergies 
  9. as well as to prevent motion 
  10. sickness.  Many are available 
  11. OTC.  Most decrease aqueous 
  12. tear production which results in 
  13. contact lens wearing problems
  14. -dryness, blurred vision from lens 
  15. surface drying and corneal staining. 
  16. Mucin production may also be 
  17. decreased.
